Week 3: iTrixx, planning, et al

I'm here in the space. Things have been moved around. Peewee has set up a kind of space that is closer to a reception area than an office. I like the widened field of view. We'll see if it works out. So far, so good.

Today, I:
My output:
  • Visualization: Review of theory
  • Visualization: Compilation of best practices and examples
  • ASEACC map
  • Processing Story
I think what I need for each then is kind of a separate account for each of these.

I met up with iTrixx (finally!) earlier this week. (Was it just Monday?) And they want to see what what kind of exposure they'll be getting for an installation.

Other possible lead: invite bloggers to review this (although I think I've already made myself a little unpopular with a couple of prominent bloggers).

Fete de la Wasaque is happening right now and, unbelievably enough, I am able to really really work. Somehow, this auditory assault is allowing me to concentrate. Amazing.

What I've accomplished today (related to this residency)
  • talked to andrea and donna about trying to get profiles for antipodes night
  • tried google maps API tutorial. Oodles more to go.
  • talked to the Libre Lahat group to display their work here
  • talked to painter guy and Tad
  • watched Fete de la Wasaque
