Weekend thoughts

Jong Pairez brought to my attention Zanny Begg's work. I'm glad he did.

Last Wednesday, I was talking with a painter who I've only met recently at Green Papaya Miko Sandejas. I feel ashamed because a) I can't remember his name; b) I was kind of dismissive of a lecture he brought to my attention that he had heard earlier in the day on Veritas.org, about how Christianity has been instrumental in the development of Western science. I really need to control my knee-jerk reaction against Christians and Christianity. Ashamed, I went to check out the site two days later. I'm clearly still not an exemplar of religious tolerance, since the first lecture I downloaded for listening Os Guinness' "The One Unanswerable Objection to the Christian Faith: Christians".

If you're reading this, painter dude, pasensya ka na!

I'm beginning to get a good sense of what I want to do as one of the things I want to present. I'm kind of regretting having to work so much on interactive floor display thing, which was kind of a spinoff from the original Wii remote motion tracking idea I had.
